ICÔNE - PHOTO & VIDEO EXPO
"I'm a kind of fashion nymphomaniac that never reaches orgasm’
- Karl Largerfeld
Icone Studio arose from a collaboration between Adrien Charretton and Sébastien Jurkovich. It specializes in art direction, photography, videography and event design. Beyond conventional boundaries, we strive to seduce, provoke and make people dream. Aesthetic rigour and attention to detail encompass our philosophy and ensure the creation of an emotional experience before our cameras. Icone Studio is an entity, an association, but most of all, a vision of fashion.
Video presentation by Icone, everyday at 9:25. Extra presentation on Saturday, 7PM. Main stage.
EXPOSITION EN PLEIN AIR: MORCEAUX CHOISIS
Between Sherbrooke and De Maisonneuve streets. The popular outdoor exhibition displayed on McGill College Avenue returns once again this summer for a 6th edition. Showcasing the vast photographic archives of the McCord Museum, this year’s exhibition invites viewers to play historical “hide and seek.”
SAMUEL MERCURE - INSTALLATION
What interests me in art is what happens in the first 5 seconds you see a piece. The first feeling, the aesthetic impact, that quick reflection that tells you whether or not you like it, the desire to give it more time, explore it, understand it. That being said, I work on every piece with this idea in mind, this desire to impose a presence that cannot go unnoticed.
I like to consider all the elements and clues leading to an understanding of the pieces like verses of a poem inspired by impressions and series of spontaneous ideas linked to one another. I find beauty in simple objects and in ways of organizing them.
The best achievement would be to make these 5 seconds last longer.
UNE VILLE SI SOUVENT CITÉE
